Aqua - Water

Shea Butter - soothing and anti-aging properties that may make skin appear smoother and reduce ageing.

Cocoa Butter - high in fatty acids, which is why it's often praised for its ability to hydrate and nourish the skin and improve elasticity. The fat in cocoa butter forms a protective barrier over skin to hold in moisture and is an excellent cleanser to melt away dirt.

Castor Oil - is extremely moisturising, but it also helps kill bacteria and fungi.

Rice Bran Oil - rich in essential fatty acids, trace elements, vitamin E, and mineral salts, rice bran oil helps moisturise the skin and promotes skin microcirculation. Rice bran oil has healing, restructuring, soothing, repairing (reduces skin inflammation) and decongesting properties.

Coconut oil - has anti-bacterial properties so will help to rid your brushes of any unfriendly bacteria.

Sodium Hydroxide -  shows up in so many products, because it has a specific job: to help balance and maintain the pH of skin care products. Sodium hydroxide is derived from salt water (brine.)

Glycerine - its quality as a solvent, along with it being hygroscopic (retains moisture), make it good for cleaning and stain removal. These qualities allow glycerine to soften hardened and set stains, so that even old stains can be more easily removed, perfect for dirty make-up brushes. Glycerine also benefits the skin barrier by pulling water from the air to keep the skin hydrated and minimise water loss.
